Single Message
Send direct 1-to-1 WhatsApp messages and templates to individual recipients using the WhatsBox Message Composer.
The Message Composer (/compose) allows you to start a new WhatsApp conversation or send a direct 1-to-1 message to any recipient without having an active conversation in your inbox.

Select Sending Channel
If your organization has multiple WhatsApp numbers (e.g. Sales vs Support), use the From dropdown to select the sender number.
Enter Recipient Phone Number
Enter the destination mobile number:
- Include the international country dialing code (e.g.
1for USA,44for UK,91for India). - The composer validates the phone number format in real-time.
Select Message Type: Session or Template
- Template Message: Required when initiating a conversation with a new customer or when the 24-hour window is closed.
- Browse your approved WhatsApp templates.
- Enter the required dynamic variables (e.g., recipient's name, tracking code, appointment date).
- Preview the final compiled message before sending.
- Session Message: If an active 24-hour conversation window is already open with the contact, you can type a custom message or use a saved session template.
Send or Schedule
- Instant Send: Click Send to dispatch immediately.
- Schedule Send: Click the dropdown next to Send, select Schedule send, and choose the exact dispatch date and time.
Viewing Composer History
Navigate to Compose > History (/compose/history) to view a historical log of all direct one-to-one messages sent from the composer, including dispatch timestamps, channels used, and delivery status.
