Broadcast
Broadcast Campaigns (/broadcast) enable you to reach hundreds or thousands of contacts simultaneously with high-converting, personalized WhatsApp messages.
Unlike consumer WhatsApp broadcast lists (which only deliver if the recipient has saved your number in their address book), WhatsBox broadcasts use the Official Meta Cloud API, ensuring 100% delivery directly into the customer's chat list regardless of address book saves.
Creating a Broadcast Campaign
Select the Sending Channel (From)
Choose the verified WhatsApp phone number from which the broadcast will be sent.
Select Target Contact List (To)
Select the audience segment from your Contact Lists (e.g., "VIP Customers", "Webinar Attendees", "Holiday Promo 2026").
WhatsBox validates the list immediately:
- Sample Record Preview: Displays an actual contact from the selected list in a structured preview table. This allows you to verify that attributes like First Name, Order Number, or Renewal Date exist before mapping them.
- If the list contains 0 contacts, an alert prompts you to select a populated list.
Select an Approved Template
Click Select Template to browse your synced Meta WhatsApp templates:
- Templates with Marketing, Utility, or Authentication categories are displayed with their language and status.
- Select your desired template.
Configure Dynamic Variable Mapping
Templates often include placeholders like {{1}}, {{2}}, and header media. WhatsBox provides an intuitive variable mapping interface:

Real-Time Live Message Preview
As you configure variable mappings, WhatsBox automatically compiles a Live Message Preview using data from your sample contact record. This ensures you never send broken placeholders like "Hello {{1}}" to real customers!
Sending or Scheduling the Campaign
- Send Now: Initiates batch sending immediately through the Cloud API queue.
- Schedule for Later: Specify a future date and time to align with peak engagement hours or specific timezones.
Sending a Test Message
Before sending to hundreds of customers, WhatsBox lets you test the broadcast on your own device:
- Click Next button.
- Open Send yourself a test message box and enter your personal WhatsApp phone number.
- Click Send button.
- Check your phone to verify image formatting, button taps, and text flow.
Submit the Campaign
Click Submit button to send the campaign.
